Shop Local - Win Local Registration Open

The Camano Island Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new initiative to support our local business community in a fun and engaging (and safe) way this Fall. The Shop Local - Win Local event will encourage individuals to spend money in local businesses and in exchange they will be entered into a drawing for some great prizes.The event will take place from October 15th -November 19th. Deadline to register to participate as a business is October 1st.There are multiple ways to participate and to donate to this fun event. You do not have to have a store front to participate - there is really something for everyone in this "win-win" event! The Camano Island Chamber of Commerce will provide all of the promotion and materials for this event. Deadline to sign up is Oct. 1st.Here is how it works:- Participating businesses will be given drawing tickets to give out to customers (one "free" ticket and then one ticket for every $5 they spend in your store.)- And the end of each week participating businesses will do a drawing and award a $10 gift card to a winner- On Thanksgiving a winner will be chosen from all of the entries to win a GRAND PRIZE (multiple gift cards and CASH!)There are opportunities for businesses to participate (as explained above) and in addition we are looking for Weekly Sponsors , Gift Basket Sponsors and Community Sponsors who wish to donate gift cards to the Grand Prize.
